Do you have commercial lines carriers, or only personal lines?
Both. We work with top-rated commercial and personal lines carriers, so you can write either or both, and earn direct appointments with them.
How much of my book of business will AgentCo own?
None. You always own 100% of your book, and every policy you write shows your agency's name on the declarations page, not ours.
How soon can I get a direct contract with an insurance company?
Faster than you might expect. As soon as you've met the agreed book size and quality with a carrier, you can go direct.
If I go direct with one carrier, can I keep access to the others?
Yes. That's one of the biggest advantages of AgentCo: go direct with one or more carriers and keep using us for additional markets.
If I qualify to go direct, can I stay with AgentCo?
Yes. Some agents decide the profit sharing and support they get through AgentCo are worth more than a direct contract. It's always your choice.
